Tips For Successful Training Sessions
1. Keep your sessions short. I usually stick to half an hour or less.

2. Always follow through with what you ask. If you ask your llama to do something and let them get away with not doing it, it will be very hard to get them to do it in the future.

3. Always end on a happy note. If you are working on something difficult and it did not go very well ask for a simple task that they can do well so that you can end the session with praise.

4. Make sure to stay consistent with your vocal commands. Choose a command for everything, and only use that command for that behaviour.

5. Only reward your llama for doing a trick when you have actually asked for it. Your llamas will learn they get treats for tricks and will likely start doing tricks when you have not asked the to. This gets dangerous once they learn things like "rear up" or even to "foot touch".
